Two people lost their lives on Sunday morning in a rollover car crash in North Las Vegas. The crash happened at approximately 3:00 at Tropical and Decatur.

The driver of a truck swerved to avoid something that was in the road, Las Vegas Police said. And in doing so he lost control of the truck, hit a curb and crashed into a brick wall. Two of the three passengers did not have their seatbelts on and were thrown from the vehicle.

Police say there was a strong odor of alcohol in the truck and believe that could have attributed to the accident although police haven't said if the driver was intoxicated. The crash is still being investigated.
